We want to honor the integrity of the food we serve.
We buy as much inventory as possible from New England farms and suppliers. This practice doesn’t just support the New England farm economy, it lessens the impact on our environment by reducing the miles traveled. This also ensures that our ingredients are fresh and delicious. New England is full of beautiful and bountiful farms and in the months to come, we will be working hard to establish relationships with more local food growers, producers, and livestock farmers.
We want to honor the integrity of the food we serve so we never prepare it with artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Our kitchen doesn’t use hydrogenated oils, microwave ovens, or non-stick surfaces. In most cases, our marinades, dressings and sauces are made right in our own kitchen.

We opened The Clean Take because we believe healthy food can also be convenient. We make whole ingredient, healthy meals and snacks to go. Whole ingredient meals are available Monday through Friday 10 am until 6:00 pm. Click here to see our daily menu.

We are located in the Capital Two Plaza, at the Warren Street end. Find us next to the back entrance of Joe King’s shoe shop in the courtyard. We are conveniently located across from the Durgin Garage for easy pick up. (We occupy the space previously know as the Soup Gallery.)
